America 250 Banners

On July 4, 2026, the United States will mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This historic milestone will be a featured focus of the annual Montrose, PA July 4th Celebration—an opportunity to reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead to the future.

The Kiwanis Club of the Montrose Area is honored to play a key role in this special celebration by offering America 250 Commemorative Banners for purchase by businesses, organizations, clubs, families, and individuals. These banners provide a meaningful way to show pride in both our community and our country.

Each banner will feature an exclusive design and be produced by the same trusted company that creates our popular Hometown Heroes Banners, ensuring consistent quality and visual impact. Banners are $200 each and may display a family, business, or sponsor name.

Banners will be displayed along the Montrose July 4th Patriotic Parade route from April through October, offering months of high-visibility exposure during peak community events. After the season, banners will be returned to sponsors as a commemorative keepsake of this historic anniversary.

A portion of the proceeds will support the Montrose Marching Unit Alumni Band. Fifty dollars from each banner purchase will be donated to help offset travel expenses as the Alumni Band proudly represents Montrose in the Salute to Independence Parade in Philadelphia on July 3, 2026. Following this national event, the band will return home in time to march in the Montrose Patriotic Parade on July 4th.
